Good deals, but shipping could be better

I grabbed a great deal on a new Olfa Rotary Cutter during their daily deals last week, and the price was fantastic. I usually shop at Missouri Star Quilt Co, but Green Fairy Quilts had the best price this time. My only real gripe is that it took a full 9 days to get here, which felt a bit long.

Mostly good, one small issue

I purchased a couple of Moda Fat Quarter Bundles and a Rotary Cutter. The fabric quality was excellent, as expected, and the cutter works well. Shipping took about 6 days to get to me in Oregon, which is fine, but I've had faster. My only slight complaint was that one of the fat quarter bundles had a tiny crease on one of the fabrics, nothing major, just noticed it. Customer service was responsive when I asked a general question before ordering. Prices are competitive, especially with their sales.

Always reliable for Moda fabrics

Another great order from Green Fairy Quilts. I got a Moda Layer Cake and some coordinating fabric by the yard. Everything was exactly as pictured and arrived quickly, just like my last few orders. It's why I keep coming back, the consistency is great.

Good selection, solid experience

I ordered a Quilt Kit and a couple of PDF Quilt Patterns last month. The ordering process was straightforward on their site. My physical items, the kit, shipped out pretty fast and got to me in about 4 days. The PDF patterns were available instantly, which was nice. Fabric quality in the kit was good, standard Moda stuff. I had a question about one of the patterns, sent an email, and got a helpful reply the next day. Overall, a smooth transaction and everything arrived as expected.

Is Green Fairy Quilts actually legit? Like, is it a real store or one of those scam sites that just takes your money?

M Mike 3 months ago

Totally legit! I've ordered from them a bunch of times. Always great fabric and fast shipping.

C Colin Marsh 3 months ago

Oh yeah, 100% real. They're super well-known in the quilting community, especially for Moda fabrics. No worries there.

What's their return policy like for fabric? What if I order a yard of something and then change my mind?

D Derek W. 3 months ago

I think for cut fabric it's usually final sale everywhere. You'd have to check their specific policy, but most places won't take back fabric once it's cut to order.

R Raj C. 3 months ago

Yeah, if it's fabric cut by the yard, they probably won't take it back unless it's defective. Precuts like jelly rolls or bundles might be different, but I'd email them to be sure if it's cut.

Hey, wondering how long shipping usually takes for Green Fairy Quilts? I'm in California and want to get a project started soon.

N Nina 2 months ago

Mine usually get here in about a week to SoCal. Sometimes a bit faster if I order early in the week.

A Andre G. 2 months ago

I'm in NorCal and it's typically 5-7 business days for me. They're pretty good about getting stuff out, I think they ship from Idaho.

Are the daily deals they advertise combinable with other coupon codes? Trying to get the best price on a fat quarter bundle.

D Dan M. 2 months ago

Nah, usually the daily deals are standalone. You don't even need a code for those, they just show the discounted price.

M Marcus 2 months ago

From my experience, the daily deals are separate from regular coupon codes. It's either one or the other, not both.

Anyone ordered a quilt kit from here before? Are the patterns clear and easy to follow for someone who's not super advanced?

T Tara A. 2 months ago

Yeah, I got one of their kits last year and it was great. The pattern was super detailed, even had good diagrams. Definitely beginner-friendly.

D Daisy 2 months ago

I've done a couple of their kits. The patterns are usually pretty well-written, even for someone like me who sometimes gets lost. Plus, the fabric selections are always top-notch.
